In this work the remains of a Roman watch-tower are presented. The watch-tower was discovered during a superficial exporation of the terrain where a plaster quarry was going to be extended. The later cleaning work allowed for the documentation of the site. Its strategic position on a hillock, in the confluence of the Frio and Genil rivers and the proximity of two elevated sites lead us to propose its vinculation to the rivers with the function of controlling the crossing of the Frio river.
