  • The article the impact of citizen science on innovation and changes in behavior. The author notes that citizen science is largely driven by the Internet, cloud computing, smartphones, and social media, enabling globally-dispersed, non-qualified individuals to gather information and knowledge on a range of scales. He discusses methods of citizen science in social science, how citizen science can foster education and cultural change, and the political aspects of citizen science in Iceland.
