  • The article discusses the Large Interactive Virtual Environment Lab (LIVElab) at McMaster University in Toronto, Canada, which will reportedly be the first dedicated facility to examine the effect of music on the brain. Examples of LIVElab planned studies are presented including research examining emotional arousal during performances using electroencephalography (EEG), what acoustic factors matter in a learning environment, and how hearing ability changes with various hearing aid models.
