In this article the author explores how close Iran is to acquiring nuclear weapons. He notes a breakout scenario being debated among experts in which Iran moves quickly to develop and test a nuclear bomb before other nations can act to stop them or International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) becomes aware of what Iran is doing. A discussion on Iran's nuclear capabilities and the best way to deter Iran from making the decision to develop a nuclear bomb is presented.
