  • The authors reflect on two different ways of assessing heat-related mortality and vulnerability as of 2015, and it mentions the impacts that global warming and climate change can have on public health in places such as America. According to the article, heat is responsible for more fatal events in the U.S. than all other weather events combined. Health risks during periods of extreme heat are examined, as well as population density, America's rural poverty, and excess mortality studies.
