Resumen de Social Determinants of Health Equity.

• The authors reflect on the social determinants of health equity. They suggest that while there are other factors which influence health, those are outweighed by social and economic factors and that socioeconomic and other inequalities need to be reduced to reduce health disparities. They argue that public health and medical work forces have critical advocacy roles to play in helping to develop more equitable health, social and economic systems.
