  • The author discusses debates which have been seen in the U.S. about health care reform and health insurance exchanges since 1993 and misconceptions about the exchanges and health care reform which evolved from the debates. A discussion of the role that the "American Journal of Public Health" plays in helping to educate public health professionals is presented. A new feature in the journal called "Public Health Policy Briefs" is noted.
