  • The author discusses the impact of reproductive health equity on the quality of life for adolescents and young adults. Topics include the impact of unplanned pregnancy on the education and employment of adolescents or young adults, research on the role of reproductive coercion by male partners on adolescent pregnancy rates, and a decrease in U.S. pregnancy rates in young girls aged 15 to 19 due to increased use of various forms of birth control such as condoms and pills.
