    La noción de persona surge en teología al tratar sobre la Santísima Trinidad y la Encarnación del Verbo. Pronto se aplicó también al hombre. La antropología trascendental de Polo es una antropología de la persona humana, pero no es una antropología teológica sino filosófica. Además de citar textos en los que Polo es explícito a este respecto, se estudian también numerosos argumentos incluidos en sus obras que ratifican esta afirmación.

    The notion of person arises in theology when dealing with the Holy Trinity and the Incarnation of the Verb. Soon, it was also applied to man. L. Polo transcendental anthropology is an anthropology of the human person, but it is not a theological but philosophical anthropology. In addition to quote texts in which Polo is explicit in this regard, there are studied also numerous arguments included in his works that ratify this affirmation.
