  • Resumen
    • Forget five a day--eating seven or more portions of fruit and vegetables daily seems to be healthier. People who eat more fruit and vegetables tend to live longer, but people don't know how much is optimal. The UK government currently recommends five 80-gram portions a day. So, Oyinlola Oyebode of University College London and her colleagues looked at a public health survey of 65,000 adults in England and linked this to national death records. People were divided into five groups, on the basis of how many portions of fruit and veg they reported eating on the day before the survey.
