  • Strictly speaking, colors do not exist. The brain generate the perception of color by comparing the responses of color-receptor cells in the eye tuned to different wavelengths. People with mutant receptors--which are surprisingly common--perceive light of a specific wavelength very differently. Here, color vision is discussed.
