Resumen de Caracterización de los planes de innovación en las prácticas pedagógicas de la Licenciatura en Inglés de una universidad pública Colombiana

Innovar es fundamental en la enseñanza y aprendizaje contemporáneo de inglés y varias las investigaciones en este sentido (Motteram, 2013; Parab, 2015). En Colombia, el Ministerio de Educación también promueve prácticas innovadoras una vez implementada la política de bilingüismo con la ley 1651 en 2013. Este artículo presenta el análisis de las propuestas de innovación[1] de la práctica pedagógica de la Licenciatura en inglés de una universidad estatal Colombiana y cuán presente está la innovación en las didácticas específicas y en las experiencias pedagógicas de los practicantes en el periodo 2014 a 2017.

Innovating is fundamental in the teaching and learning of English and several investigations have been carried out in this regard (Motteram, 2013; Parab, 2015). In Colombia, the Ministry of Education also promotes innovative practices once implemented the policy of bilingualism with the Act 1651 in 2013. First, this paper presents a documentary-exploratory case study of a transversal quantitative nature (Selltiz et al., 1980) of 105 proposals of pedagogical innovation conducted in the elt practice program of a Colombian public university between 2014 and 2017. Second, the study also analyzes the recurrence of citations for general education and English teaching authors in the innovation plans. In the third place, five syllabi of the specific didactics that precede the pedagogical practices in the program are analyzed. Finally, it is concluded that the proposals correspond to incremental innovations in the primary cycle and continuous improvement in secondary and tertiary education and although the plans do not produce substantial changes in the educational processes intervened in schools; the student teachers do alter the micro-reality of the classroom.
