Resumen de Subgéneros narrativos, historiografía, fábula, anécdota, "Comentarios Reales" [1609] del Inca Garcilaso de la Vega

La competencia estilística del Inca Garcilaso de la Vega le permite usar diversos subgéneros narrativos que se ubican entre la ficción histórica y la literaria —el caso historial, la relación, la noticia, la anécdota, la fábula, la fábula historial, el suceso, el cuento— para amenizar su discurso en los Comentarios Reales [1609]. Con ello, Garcilaso se inserta en la tradición del 'deleitar aprovechando' de su época sin abandonar sus intenciones humanistas de corte didáctico. En este artículo se propone una clasificación de dichos subgéneros narrativos.

The stylistic competence of the Inca Garcilaso de la Vega allows him to draw on various narrative subgenres that lie between literary and historical fiction —the historical case, the relation, the news, the anecdote, the fable, the historical fable, the event, the story— in order to illustrate the discourse in his Comentarios Reales [1609]. With this, Garcilaso follows the tradition of the ‘deleitare aprovechando’ of his time without abandoning his humanistic intentions of didactic character. This article presents a proposal for the classification of these narrative subgenres.
