Resumen de Vorberichte/Preliminary Reports: Egyptian Salvage Excavations at Tell el-Mansheya

This archaeological report presents results of rescue excavations conducted by the Ministry of Antiquities at Tell el-Mansheya locat-ed in close proximity to Tell el-Koa in Wadi Tumi-lat. The site was discovered accidentally by the local inhabitants during agricultural works. The archaeological work brought to light a small cem-etery and remnants of a settlement dated to the Second Intermediate Period; more precisely to the second half of the 15th Dynasty.
