En los últimos años se ha avanzado mucho en el estudio de la historia de género y también en el alcance de la represión sufrida por las mujeres durante y después de la guerra civil. Aquí vamos a centrarnos en un aspecto hasta ahora no tratado: las milicianas que fueron condenadas a muerte. En sus expedientes se observa que, además de por su implicación política o su compromiso en la lucha antifascista, se las juzgó por lo que de trasgresión, respecto al modelo de mujer previsto por el Nuevo Estado, tuvo su comportamiento, su vestimenta y su decisión de incorporarse a la lucha. El objetivo de este artículo es analizar hasta qué punto esa condición fue considerada por los tribunales militares como objeto de una punición adicional.

In recent years, much progress has been made in the study of gender history and also in the ex-tent of the repression suffered by women during and after the civil war. Here we are going to focus on an aspect that has not yet been addressed: the milicianas that were sentenced to death. In their files it is observed that, in addition to their political involvement or commitment in the anti-fascist struggle, they were judged for what transgression, regarding the model of women envisioned by the New State, had its behavior, its dress and its decision to join the fight. The objective of this article is to analyze to what extent that condition was considered by the military courts as the object of an additional punishment.
