  • Resumen
    • The aim of this text is to contribute to a revaluation of the heritage of the Kantian philosophy of mathematics. We know that indeed the intuitive paradigm of the Critique of Pure Reason very quickly appeared to be out of step with the direction taken by the mathematical science. Our hypothesis is that Kant himself was the first to be conscious of this fact. Using the idea of a “pure intellectual synthesis” developed by the philosopher in his correspondence about arithmetic, we will show how such a reworked paradigm is able to better render the later mathematical practise, going over the opposition between logical analytic and intuitive synthesis. We will test this hypothesis in a reading of Bolzano’s and Dedekind’s works
