  • The article focuses on how the practices of Latin American artists such as Gabriel Sierra, Alberto Baraya and Lucas Ospina explore art's relationship with space and redefine the term of tropicality. The artistic practice of Sierra stems from his observations and experiences in everyday life. Baraya seeks to grant man-made images their "natural" appearance by drawing from a variety of sources like the urban landscape.
