  • The article offers the author's insights on the works of Tacita Dean. It says that Dean is an anarchist whose films depict a lot of paternal images, particularly the elderly, which is similar to Francisco Goya's famous painting "Chronos." It cites that Dean's 2009 exhibition "Still Life" in Milan, Italy was full of objects and creations imbued with time. The author says that he thinks of Aeneas and Anchises, the son bearing his father on his back, every time he watches one of Dean's films.
