  • The article focuses on the works of artist Isabel Simões at Marz-Galeria in Lisbon, Portugal. Most of Simões' works focuses mainly on the placement of the painted object on the canvas, which is an essential concern. His concern is not to represent a certain reality, but to depart from one in order to examine other problems, such as the perception of the space.
