  • The article highlights the exhibition "Be(com)ing Dutch." According to the author, the event tried to reclaim art's avant-garde position as the moral vanguard in a time when controversial issues such as immigration, failed integration and the polarization of Dutch society set the political and public debate. The artists and the artworks included in the exhibition are discussed.
