The article examines several artists in the Mexican contemporary art. Edgar Orlaineta creates an artistic language based on the re-appropriation of modernist furniture and changes the structure of these everyday objects. Sebastian Romo deals with several thoughts of an awareness of mortality originating in experiences of Joseph Beuys as a pilot during the World War II. Jorge Satorre focused his attention on a megalithic monument over five thousand years old.
