  • The article offers information on several contemporary Indian artists and their works. Paintings from Dhruvi Acharya are deceptively straightforward and are characterized by simplified features, spaced compositions, and plain blocks of color. Atul Dodiya's paintings are populated by diverse traditions in painting, written word and images from the media, saints and legends. Sakshi Gupta, a sculptor with a sensitivity for textual intensity, uses materials like scrap, gears, and nuts in her works.
