  • The article discusses the depiction of the sea in Cuban art, literature and life. Topics discussed include differences in the depiction of water in Roberto Fabelo Hung's "Aire Fresco" and the installation art "Absolute Revolution" at the 2012 biennial, an alternative view of the city of Havana, Cuba in the painting "La isla del dia despues #4" and Vazquez Ley's work on manipulating salt crystals to create glaciers.
