  • The article features "Molto grigio con blu," one of the series of still-life paintings of glass objects that are done by French artist Nathalie Du Pasquier between 2001 and 2003. Du Pasquier created the series guided by the idea of painting as an object in itself and an adoption of progressive abstraction of the object dissimilar to naturalism without creating a hierarchy. The technique emphasizes her goal of reaching objectivity over sentiment.
