The article examines the life and work of the Venezuelan music producer Arca (Alejandro Ghersi). Particular focus is given to his collaborations with artists and musicians including the artist Jesse Kanda, the musician Björk and the film director and actor Spike Jonze. Details relating to his artistic and musical techniques are also discussed.
