  • In this article, the author reflects on the life and work of the fashion designer Nicolas Ghesquière. Particular focus is given to Ghesquière's work at fashion labels including Balenciaga and Louis Vuitton. Additional topics discussed include runway fashion shows, how desire is expressed through fashion and the use of leather in fashion design.
