The article discusses the art scenes of Hong Kong, China and Singapore. More specifically, the author argues that Singapore, given its substantial investments in arts infrastructure and education, appears to be undergoing a cultural revolution. It is suggested, however, that Singapore's penchant for censorship and its grueling arts curriculum need to be modified.
