Sentido Histórico y Perspectivas del Escoto-Lulismo

    El presente trabajo pretende ofrecer una visión panorámica del origen y la evolución de una corriente de pensamiento y de espiritualidad que pretende armonizar, e incluso unir, el Arte luliano con el formalismo escotista. Se examinan, en primer lugar, las fuentes históricas que hablan de un encuentro entre Ramon Llull y Duns Escoto y se argumenta en favor de la posibilidad de que efectivamente tuviera lugar. Luego el análisis se centra especialmente en Pere Daguí, considerado el fundador del escoto-lulismo, y en Fray Francesc Marçal, la figura más importante del escoto-lulismo barroco. Finalmente se resalta la importancia de Fray Junípero Serra como modelo de espiritualidad escoto-luliana y se propone dar continuidad a la herencia intelectual y misionera de Ramon Llull utilizando el Arte como instrumento de evangelización para promover la cultura del encuentro querida por el Papa Francisco.

    This article attempts to provide an overview of the origins and evolution of a school of thought and spirituality that tries to harmonize, and even to unite, the Lullian Art with the Scotistic formalism. First of all, we discuss the historical sources that tell us about the encounter between Ramon Llull and Duns Scotus, suggesting that this encounter could have really taken place. Then the analysis is mainly focused on Pere Daguí, considered as the founder of the scotus-lullism, and the Franciscan friar Francesc Marçal, the most important figure of scotus-lullistic baroque. Finally, it is also highlighted the importance of the Franciscan friar Junipero Serra as a model of scotus-lullian spirituality with the intention of giving continuity to the missionary and intellectual heritage of Ramon Llull using the Art as an instrument of evangelization in order to promote the culture of encounter that Pope Francis wants.
