    L’asthme est une pathologie fréquente qui, mal équilibrée, peut conduire à des complications graves, voire au décès. Le contrôle de la maladie repose sur une bonne utilisation des traitements de fond à base de corticostéroïdes inhalés. Le pharmacien dispose d’une place privilégiée pour accompagner les patients dans leur prise en charge et veiller à la bonne compréhension des traitements de manière à faciliter le contrôle de la maladie. La distinction des traitements de fond et de crise, de même que l’observance constituent des objectifs majeurs.

    Asthma is a common pathology which, poorly balanced, can lead to serious complications and even death. Control of the disease requires the correct use of preventive therapies based on inhaled corticosteroids. The pharmacist plays an important role in supporting patients in their treatment and ensuring that they understand the treatments in order to facilitate the control of the disease. Being able to distinguish between preventive therapies and crisis treatments, as well as compliance are major objectives.
