Resumen de Literatura afro-feminina brasileira: uma forma de combate ao silenciamento e ao racismo

This article approaches the theme of "New Old Slavery" from a study of Afro-Brazilian literature written by women. The idea is to show that black women have lived - and live, since racial prejudice still persists in our society, which is a legacy of the slavery process - for centuries on the slavery of silencing and, through literature, they have been fighting and conquering a space in Brazilian literature from which they give voice to those who, for centuries, have been and continue, even to a lesser extent, being muted and invisible to history, and in this way, a new form of the old slavery is rendered. Through literary art, Afro-Brazilian writers have "blurred" the traditional and official speech when they narrate, from their own perspective, the other version of history that was "forgotten" by the dominant ideology

O presente artigo faz uma abordagem do tema “De novas velhas escravaturas” a partir de um estudo da literatura afro-brasileira escrita por mulheres. A ideia é mostrar que as mulheres negras viveram – e vivem, visto que o preconceito racial ainda persiste em nossa sociedade, o que configura um legado do processo escravagista – por séculos sobre a escravidão do silenciamento e, através da literatura, elas vêm lutando e conquistando um espaço na literatura brasileira a partir do qual elas dão voz àquelas e àquelesque, por séculos, foram e continuam, mesmo que com menor intensidade, a ser emudecidos e invisibilizados da história, o que configura a persistência de novas velhas formas de escravatura. Através da arte literária, escritoras afro-brasileiras vêm "borrando" o discurso oficial quando narram, a partir da suas próprias óticas, a outra versão da história que foi "esquecida" pela ideologia dominante.
