Resumen de Sobre los orígenes de la Paz: cosmovisiones del concepto Paz en Oriente y Occidente

  Existen fuentes escritas desde el segundo milenio a.C. sobre la antigua Grecia, el inicio de una gran civilización que cuando sobre el origen del concepto Paz se trata se convierte en el referente. La Grecia antigua supuso todo un desarrollo de Paz como homonoia. La armonía interior como el eje que debía guiar al individuo en las relaciones para consigo mismo y para con el Otro no por ello estuvo exenta de guerras. Ahora bien conforme nos alejamos de las historias mitológicas de Diosas griegas el concepto de armonía evoluciona hacia la Pax romana de base legalista suponiendo una reformulación conforme a las necesidades, costumbres y tradiciones de cada pueblo y así hasta nuestros días. Por ello para comprender la paz actual se hace imprescindible revisar el pasado histórico sobre la Paz empezando por la Paz en las distintas culturas y civilizaciones no solo Occidente. Dada la amplitud de campo es que tomamos de referencia los estudios sobre la paz en las dos grandes macroculturas: Occidente y Oriente del profesor Johan Galtung. En el presente artículo se realiza una breve revisión sobre la Paz según las dos cosmovisiones y algunas de sus subculturas. El resultado es obtener una panorámica a vista de pájaro que sirva de inspiratione en una necesaria reformulación de la cultura de paz en el mundo

  There are written sources from the second millennium BC. about ancient Greece, the beginning of a great civilization that when the origin of the concept of Peace becomes the reference. Ancient Greece was a development of Peace as homonoia. The inner harmony as the axis that should guide the individual in relationships for himself and the Other was not exempt from wars. Now, as we move away from the mythological stories of Greek Gods, the concept of harmony evolves towards the Roman Pax based on legalism, assuming a reformulation according to the needs, customs and traditions of each town and so on until today. Therefore, in order to understand the current peace, it is essential to review the historical past about Peace, starting with Peace in different cultures and civilizations, not just the West. Given the breadth of the field, we take as reference the studies on peace in the two great macro-cultures: West and East of Professor Johan Galtung. In the present article a brief review about Peace is made according to the two worldviews and some of its subcultures. The result is to obtain a bird's-eye view that serves as inspiratione in a necessary reformulation of the culture of peace in the world.
