La obra de Arendt está salpicada con reflexiones sobre la narratividad, la biografía y el papel de los relatos, pero no hay una teoría estructurada sobre dichos temas. A pesar de ello, al leer las anotaciones de la alemana se detecta su importancia. A esto se une un interés por la vida humana, diferenciada de la vida biológica, y su papel político, ya que si bien la vida no puede ser el eje de la política, ésta crea un mundo humano. Esto debe ser bien entendido para evitar que se produzca, como en la modernidad, la alienación del hombre y del mundo.

Arendt’s works are strewn with reflections on narrativity, biography and the role of tales and stories. But there is absolutely no structured theory on these subjects. A thorough reading of her notes on these ideas reveals its importance. She is also interested on human life, seen as a life different from the biological life. Human life plays a political role: it builds a human world. That has to be well understood in order not to mix, as happed in modernity, life and politics, what has created the alienation of life and world.
