Partindo de manifestações religiosas no atual cenário sócio-cultural brasileiro, a autora lhes sonda as características e as razões, indicando alguns desafios que se apresentam às congregações religiosas e, por extensão, à Igreja católica, particularmente no Brasil.Abstract: Using as basic source the religious manifestations in the present Brazilian socio-cultural scenario, the author investigates their characteristics and their motives, pointing to some challenges that they present to the religious congregations and, by extension, to the Catholic Church, particularly in Brazil.
