Nowadays, the relevance and the strategic importance of engineering skills in thedevelopment of innovative businesses and organizations motivates the investigation of the role of the engineer in society. The new figure of the engineer-entrepreneur is so complex and multi-dimensional that it becomes very important to collectcontributions of literature from distant areas of investigation not strictly related.
