Resumen de La mesura y desmesura de Odiseo en las adaptaciones juveniles del s. XXI de la "Odisea"

Las adaptaciones juveniles actuales de la Odisea pueden ser consideradas como una de las fuentes principales de recreación de la epopeya homérica. Además, al estar destinadas a un lector en formación, introducen cambios significantes en la obra original; entre otros, son especialmente relevantes los que se aplican sobre la semántica de su protagonista. Por tanto, nos centraremos en Odiseo y en los cambios que experimentan sus rasgos vinculados con la mesura (fidelidad, astucia y actuar a favor de los demás) y desmesura (infidelidad, fuerza y actuar contra los demás). Este eje mesura-desmesura ha sido ideado a partir de la narratología y a partir de conceptos como σωφροσύνη e üβρις. Además, aunque nos centremos en la aplicación de la narratología, también tendremos en cuenta la didáctica de la lengua y la literatura, para observar cómo el joven lector incluye a Odiseo en su intertexto lector

The current young adaptations of the Odyssey are one of the principal ways of recreation of this epopee. Moreover, this kind of book includes important modifications in the Odyssey because they are made for readers in training. For instance, the modifications in the semantics of the main character are especially relevant. Therefore, we are going to focus our attention on Odysseus and on the transformations of his moderation (fidelity, cleverness and acting in favour of other characters) and excess (infidelity, strength and acting against other characters). The duality “moderation-excess” has been created from the narratology and from the notions of σωφροσύνη and üβρις. Moreover, not only we are going to apply the narratology, but also we are going to use the perspective of the Didactic of Language and Literature.
