El presente texto pretende, más allá de la intuición de la belleza de la ceremonia del tiro con arco tradicional japonés, (kyūdō), reflexionar sobre las vías de estudio de este arte a partir de las nociones de la estética occidental y un posible ámbito común con la estética oriental.

The objective of the present text is, beyond the intuition of the beauty present in the ceremony of the traditional Japanese archery (kyūdō), to reflect on the different pathways of study of this art, taking as a starting point notions of Western aesthetics and a possible common grounds with Oriental aesthetics.
