La historiografía de la arquitectura ha discurrido en paralelo a la del cine, pero personajes de uno y otro mundo se movieron sin la linealidad y encorsetamiento de cada círculo profesional. Estos apuntes sobre los dos primeros congresos cinematográficos españoles celebrados en Madrid, Primer Congreso Español de Cinematografía (1928) y Congreso Hispanoamericano de Cinematografía (1931), sirven de muestra acerca de la permeabilidad entre estos círculos y de contribución a la apertura de los compartimentos estancos con que la historia muestra hoy en día algunos itinerarios vitales y profesionales.

The historiography of architecture has run parallel with that of film, but historical figures from each of these spheres have moved between the two without being restricted by the linearity and straitjacketing of each professional circle. These annotations on the first two Spanish film conferences held in Madrid, First Spanish Film Conference (1928) and Hispanoamerican Film Conference (1931), serve as proof of the permeability between these circles and of the contribution to bridging the gap between architecture and film, as shown in some fundamental professional career paths followed today.
