  • The article discusses studies supporting the antibody-enhanced development (ADE) theory used to explain why a second dengue infection can be deadlier than the first infection of the mosquito-borne disease. It looks at the development of a vaccine that mimics an initial dengue infection that may exacerbate a second infection.
