  • The article discusses the use of biomimicry, relying on the shape of bird wings, to design three-dimensional (3-D) airplane wings, referencing an article coauthored by mathematician Leif Ristroph in the "Proceedings of the Royal Society A" journal. An overview of the reliance on an algorithm that simulates bird evolution to construct 3-D airplane wings is provided.
