  • The authoress studies «the question of language» within the Renaissance polemic appeared because of the promotion of vernacular languages and its progressive penetration into fields reserved to Latin language. The paper is a complete report of the denominated «defences», written in dialogue form, against the alive languages and an explanation of the complicated process which ends with the success of those languages versus Latin.
