• All grades of member of the Institution of Structural Engineers are required to abide by the Institution’s Code of Conduct1 .

  This note is designed to clarify the steps that members should take when they identify, suspect or receive an allegation of wrongdoing (such as a potential fraud, act of bribery/corruption, unethical or improper conduct or behaviour).

  In such circumstances, members should consider how best to report and escalate the wrongdoing. Members should not ignore the wrongdoing or do nothing.
