En este trabajo se aborda el arte del vitral como una producción ancestral con el objetivo de contribuir al desarrollo de una investigación bibliográfica que permita clarificar y ordenar el material existente. A su vez, se realiza un análisis comparativo usando como indicadores la técnica y el estilo de la disciplina. La propuesta consiste en estudiar la técnica desde sus comienzos rudimentarios hasta la actualidad. Para ello, se analiza una exhaustiva bibliografía acorde a la temática.

In the following research the art of stained glass will be approached as an ancestral production with the aim of contributing to the development of a bibliographical research that allows clarifying and ordering the existing material. Both, a comparative analysis is carried out using the technique and style of the discipline as indicators. The aim is to study from the first rudiments of the technique to the present. For this, a specific exhaustive bibliography is analyzed.
