El presente artículo pretende analizar la organización tradicional de la actividad deportiva desde una perspectiva de género, resaltando las aportaciones de la antropología feminista y sus perspectivas en este terreno. En este sentido, el deporte se encuentra inmerso en estructuras organizativas androcéntricas que lastran su práctica, y su análisis está obligado a redefinirse continuamente, y de manera muy especial observando una perspectiva de género.

The author aims to analyze, from a gender perspective, the traditional organization of sporting activities, while calling attention to the contributions made by feminist anthropology on the subject and the importance of its insight for future research. She argues that sports are nowadays part of andro-centric organizational structures that burden the practice of them, thereby forcing this practice to constantly re-define itself, especially if seen from a gender perspective.
