Evaluación técnica y económica de atrazina, pendimetalin y metribuzin en maíz amarillo duro

    RESUMEN Se realizó un ensayo en campo para evaluar el control de malezas en el híbrido de maíz Pioneer 30F35. El estudio se hizo en el fundo de la Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina, sembrándose el 30 de septiembre de 2014 y cosechándose el 28 de marzo de 2015. El manejo agronómico fue similar a un campo comercial de maíz amarillo, excepto el control de malezas. Se emplearon 11 formas de control de malezas (sin control, control manual, pendimetalin 800, 1.000 y 1.200 g ha-1, atrazina 500, 750 y 1.000 g ha-1 y metribuzin 144, 192 y 240 g ha-1). Se evaluó el peso fresco, peso seco y cobertura de malezas, altura de planta de maíz, índice de mazorca, numero de plantas de maíz m-2 y rendimiento del cultivo, realizándose el análisis económico de cada tratamiento. Las menores coberturas se presentaron con metribuzin 240 g ha-1 (5,063 %), pendimetalin 1.200 g ha-1 (3,938 %) y atrazina 750 g ha-1(16,625 %). Los mayores rendimientos fueron obtenidos con el deshierbo manual (14,218 t ha-1), pendimetalin 1.000 g ha-1(13,871 t ha-1) y atrazina 750 g ha-1(14,119 t ha-1), siendo este ultimo tratamiento el que generó un ingreso de S/ 5233,350 ó $1552,92(1 US$=3,3 soles), El mayor ingreso por campaña.

    ABSTRACT A field trial in the Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina was carried out to evaluate weed control in yellow corn hybrid Pioneer 30F35. Planting was in September30, 2014 and harvest was inMarch 28, 2015. Agronomic management was similar to a commercial field of yellow corn, exceptweed control. The eleven weed control treatments were: hand weeding, pendimethalin 800, 1000 y 1200 g ha-1, atrazine 500, 750 y 1000 g ha-1, metribuzin 144, 192 y 240 g ha-1and no control. The following characteristics were evaluated: fresh weight, dry weight and weed cover, plant height, cob index, plants m-2 and crop yield. The lowest weed covers were observed with metribuzin 240 g ha-1 (5,063 %), pendimethalin 1200 g ha-1 (3,938 %) and atrazine 750 g ha-1(16,625 %). The highestyields were obtained with hand weeding (14,218 t ha-1), pendimethalin 1000 g ha-1(13,871 t ha-1) and atrazine 750 g ha-1(14,119 t ha-1), which generated the maximum income ($1552,92).
