Resumen de Teoría de la ficción en "La poseída" de Antonio Muñoz Molina

Partiendo de la Crítica Literaria, y utilizando como base la Narratología, en el artículo se analizan los recursos que utiliza Muñoz Molina en «La poseída» para transformar un acontecimiento real en una obra ficcional. El más importante es la elección del punto de vista. Así, la focalización interna fija sobre un personaje apocado de imaginación febril convierte un hecho vulgar, por su desgraciada repetición, en una aventura llena de equívocos en cuyas trampas cae el lector. A ello contribuye el uso del estilo indirecto libre, que muestra estados internos y ahonda en el desvarío del personaje. Frente a ello, el autor implícito desliza indicios que insinúan otro sentido para la historia mientras organiza verosímilmente la visión del personaje. Además, la acumulación de referencias temporales muestra un tiempo sicológico que hace más apremiante y sorprendente el final de la historia que, en el desenlace, se entiende en sentido contrario a como se muestran los hechos.

This paper analyzes the resources that Muñoz Molina uses in «La poseída» to transform a real event into a fictional one. The most important is the choice of the point of view. This way, the focus on a timid character of feverish imagination, turns a vulgar fact, due to its unfortunate repetition, into an adventure full of misunderstandings into whose traps the reader falls down. In order to achieve that, the author makes use of free indirect speech, which shows the character´s internal states and delves into the delirium of the personage. Opposite to it, the implied author slides indications that insinuate another sense to the history, whilst the vision of the personage is credibly organized. In addition, the accumulation of temporary references shows a psychological time that makes the surprise of the end of the history more urgent and singular, as it finally turns out completely opposite to the way the facts are presented.
