Resumen de Inférences et processus d’intercompréhension dans les interactions quotidiennes: quelques questions méthodologiques

  This paper outlines a work program on inference within the interactional linguistics framework. The notion of inference is crucial in pragmatics but has been rarely investigated within the interactionist approaches. In this paper, we discuss ways in which these approaches could account for inference, by going back to ethnomethodology and its founding principles. We also propose a study of a small corpus of everyday interactions in French, in which we point out the sequential positions and the markers that could provide a basis for an interactionist analysis of the inferential processes.

  Cet article esquisse un programme de travail sur l’inférence dans le cadre de la linguistique interactionnelle. La notion d’inférence, centrale en pragmatique, est peu questionnée dans les approches interactionnistes. Nous l’abordons ici en revenant à l’ethnométhodologie et à ses principes fondateurs. Nous proposons ensuite l’étude d’un petit corpus d’interactions quotidiennes en français, où nous dégageons les positions séquentielles et les marques sur lesquelles peut reposer une analyse interactionniste des processus inférentiels.
