  • Resumen
    • This paper discusses the extension of our educational system that helps novice programming learners. Our system can understand the behaviors of input programs and output the explanation of the behaviors by texts and animations. The understanding is based on the simulation on the domain world model. They are expressed in vocabularies on the domain world. Our previous system can generate explanation only in the domain world in which the relations such as 'greater' or 'lesser' are focused (ex. sorting program etc.). In order to enlarge acceptable categories of programs, we extend our domain world model and the explanation-generating unit. Especially, we focus a domain of two-dimensional space world in which calculation by 'Newton method' or 'Trapezoid method' are performed. We would like to propose some extended methods generating explanations for the world.
