Resumen de Martín de Tordesillas, comendador de Ribera del Fresno

Durante casi medio siglo, coincidiendo con la segunda mitad del XV, Martín de Tordesillas fue comendador de Ribera del Fresno, encomienda que tenía agregado el lugar del Aceuchal. En el presente trabajo se analiza su trayectoria personal y política, su actuación como comendador y su huella en el pueblo, en particular la construcción de su castillo que aquí situamos y describimos. También se analizan las rentas obtenidas y los tipos de aprovechamientos que proporcionaba esta encomienda.

Martin de Tordesillas was the knight commander of Ribera del Fresno for almost five hundred years. These years overlapped with the second half of the fifteenth century. The parcel of land of Ribera del Fresno was also made of the municipal boundary of Aceuchal. Both his personal career and his political career are analysed throughout this piece of work. Also, his action as a knight commander and his marks in the village have been examined, notably the building of the castle which is also located and described in this work. Likewise, the incomes obtained and the different types of usages provided by this parcel of land have been assessed too.
