    Se analiza el concepto del valor de la Vida bajo un enfoque complejo, con el fin de lograr una transformación epistémica significativa que permita ver la Vida y los entes vivos, sobre todo al ser humano, bajo una perspectiva más amplia como un todo integrado consigo mismo y con su entorno.

    Se hace necesario comprender la lógica de la Vida teniendo como punto de partida el aporte de las ciencias biológicas y como punto de llegada el concurso de las ciencias humanísticas que iluminen el sentido de la inteligencia humana y del ejercicio médico hacia el camino de la verdad permitiendo así un mejor equilibrio en la búsqueda de la salud. Se llevó a cabo un ensayo en donde a través de un análisis crítico y argumentativo se evalúa el concepto de la vida exponiendo de una manera organizada y clara el tema con un contenido relevante y documentado, permitiendo así una reflexión profunda del mismo que facilite una actitud integral del médico en su ejercicio profesional. Para ello se define, en primer lugar, el concepto de Vida, su individualidad, y lo que ello implica para el ente vivo. Posteriormente, se analiza la Vida como valor supremo fundamental y básico bajo el nuevo paradigma de la complejidad orientado hacia el ejercicio profesional en la Medicina. Se finaliza esta revisión con las conclusiones en donde se plantea la necesidad de crear un vínculo con las Ciencias Humanísticas y facilitar la reforma del pensamiento hacia un mejor beneficio al servicio de la humanidad en defensa de la vida y la dignidad del ser humano. Se requiere contar con médicos cada vez más preparados para afrontar las situaciones y conflictos éticos que a diario se le presentan dentro de su ejercicio profesional, en la medida que obtengan un concepto claro y sólido de lo que representa la vida como valor supremo su actitud estará dirigida a defenderla cuidarla y protegerla respetándola como un bien sagrado y personal

    The concept of the value of life under a complex approach is analyzed in order to achieve a significant epistemic transformation that allows seeing life and living entities, especially human beings, from a broader perspective as an integrated whole with itself and with their environment. It is necessary to understand the logic of life taking as its starting point the contribution of life sciences and as a point of arrival contests the humanistic sciences that illuminate the meaning of human intelligence and medical practice towards the path of truth allowing and a better balance in the pursuit of health. Conducted a trial in which through a critical and argumentative analyzes the concept of life exposing an organized and clear manner the subject with a relevant and documented content is evaluated, allowing a deep reflection of it to facilitate an attitude comprehensive physician in his practice. For it is defined, first, the concept of life, individuality, and what it implies for the living entity. Subsequently, Life is analyzed as fundamental and basic supreme value under the new paradigm of complexity oriented professional practice in medicine. This review ends with the conclusions where the need to create a link with the Humanistic Sciences and facilitate reform of thought towards a better benefit to the service of humanity in defense of life and the dignity of the human being arises. It is required to have doctors increasingly prepared to face situations and ethical conflicts that daily are presented in their professional practice, to the extent that you get a clear and solid representing life as a supreme value concept attitude will aimed at respecting defend nurtured and protected as a sacred and personal property
