Woman as a mother; woman as a silent or unsilent wife; woman as a lover; woman as a virgin devoted to a goddess; woman as a magician or a witch. All the faces and roles of women are carefully examined from a psycoanalytic outlook; topics from ancient drama and ancient epic poetry to be found al1 over the text of historical romans.
